Arbor Care Staff John J. Dailey Bachelor of Science Illinois State. John has a Certified Applicator license from the Texas Structural Pest Control Board and is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and the Tree Care Industry Association. He has many years of experience in tree preservation, on projects such as Champion Center, a Paragon Group Development, Westport Business Park and North Loop Business Park, both Trammell Crow developments, a 3M Development in Austin, as well as numerous residential preservation sites in the Houston area. He also served as Vice President of Houston Trees and was a member of its Executive Committee David M. Selby Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston. David was born and raised in colonial Africa the son of an avid English gardener. David has extensive working experience in all aspects of tree care such as tree preservation, maintenance, spraying, fertilizing, and transplanting. Friedrich K. (Fred) von Schenk Fred has been with Arbor Care since 1990. He is a Certified Applicator and has held the positions of tree climber, spray technician, field supervisor, production manager, and sales representative. He currently fulfills duties which include purchasing agent, internal consultant, administrative assistant, safety and compliance coordinator, and IT manager. This versatile and accomplished arborist has been with Arbor Care since the beginning, and has been a key element in our growth, development, and success. David L. Hintz David Hintz has been involved in arboriculture since 1975. A native of the Houston area, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from Texas A & M University. His experience includes 17 years with a national tree care company working in Houston, Washington D.C. and Dallas. David has been with Arbor Care for the last 11 years. A long-time member of the International Society of Arboriculture, he has served four terms as a director of the Texas Chapter and worked on various committees. David became a Certified Arborist in 1992 and has been a test proctor for the certification program since 1994. Other professional activities include having served on the Urban Agriculture Advisory Committee for Montgomery County, Maryland, as well as having been a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert. Edward T. Dolphin As a native Houstonian, Ed has an extensive background with the native plants of the southern region. With a Bachelor of Arts form Abilene Christian University, he has a well-rounded and thorough education. With a long background in customer service, Ed knows how to serve the needs of the tree care consumer. Ed has been with Arbor Care since 1998, and has been a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture since 2001. After spending more than a decade in the landscape industry, his knowledge of trees, plants, and shrubs has become very extensive. As a licensed technician through the Texas Pest Control Board, Ed is well prepared to handle any of your tree care needs. J.T. O'Keane J.T. O’Keane has over 27 years of green industry experience beginning prior to his attending Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. His broad background includes golf course irrigation, commercial & residential landscaping, nursery management, and tree care. Licensed through the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas and certified by The International Society of Arboriculture, J.T. has the knowledge and experience that can be trusted to assist you with your arboricultural needs. Garrett Ryerson A native of Beaumont, Garrett holds an Associates Degree in Applied Science from ITT Technical College. He has been in the green industry for over 19 years, over seven of those with Arbor Care, Inc. His experience includes residential and commercial landscaping, nursery management, pest control and tree care. He is a Certified Applicator with the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas and an ISA Certified Arborist. As the Production Manager of our Liquid Services Department, Garrett not only has proven supervisory skills, but also an excellent track record in client relations. Michael Scott Another of our Houston natives, Mike graduated Spring High School in 1980, where he participated in various Agricultural programs. Mike served with honor in The US Navy as a corpsman until 1985, and then served as a Police Officer and a Paramedic until 1999. After a 2 year stint as a long haul trucker, Mike, a life-long outdoorsman, experienced gardener, ranch hand and nature enthusiast, joined the staff of Arbor Care, Inc. in 2001. He proved to be a quick study, and is a Licensed Technician with the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas and an ISA Certified Arborist. Mikes long career of service has translated into dedicated customer care for the clients of Arbor Care, Inc. |
